I liked the story, but didn't care much for the ending. I also think the author had a hard time deciding on the personality of his main character. I think he was trying to make him a super-intelligent bad-ass, but he sure seemed like a stupid wuss sometimes in the story. Regardless of the circumstances he was facing, he didn't seem to act the way I think someone with his background would react.
