I was so happy to learn that Julie had written a novella that took place between the Iron King and the Iron Daughter about Meghan and Ash's journey to the Winter Court. It starts pretty much immediately after the end of the Iron King.

It was just as awesome as I thought it would be. Meghan and Ash are honestly one of my favorite couples in the entire YA genre. Reading about them was my favorite part of the novella.

But the story isn't just about romance. There's plenty of action as well. A Hunter is coming after Meghan and Ash, and they'll have to fight for their lives if they want to survive.

I'm glad I read the story, as it helped give me my Ash and Meghan fix while I waited for the Iron Daughter, and it left off at a good spot. Highly recommended.
