An easy, relaxing read, with Palin recounting his Monty Python years running up to the Life of Brian, with Ripping Yarns inbetween. He was quite young at the time too, 36 when he was flying Concorde to New York to host Saturday Night Live for example. Lucky bastard. His journal reminds me of my own though, not making too many personal comments or observations, more notations on what he has been doing in a day. I bought his next diary for the Kindle too, which is ideal for that gadget, I think, as you can dip in and out it at leisure.
