OK, let's see. Erin turned me on to the series right after we graduated high school. She said it would be good, she was right. I hate it when she's right.
I finished the book in England and bought book two there and immediately noticed that the American book cover art is eleventy billion times better than Britain's. Which I find odd, don't you?
Book three came out that summer. Then we waited for Book four and it started to get a little annoying because now everyone was reading it, but oh well. Goblet of Fire is my favorite because of the Quidditch World Cup and the Tri-Wizard Tournament (I don't think the movies did Fleur's hotness justice--at least not the Fleur I had in my mind).
Book five, six, seven, yada yada. By the end I realized that the movies had corrupted my original versions of many characters. Harry was always as I imagined him to be in the beginning--a little dorkier. Hermione totally became the actress, as did Ron and Snape and some others. I remember thinking thoug...more
