This was a fascinating read. It is the true story behind the creation of the play Chicago, which was also turned into the hugely popular musical. You'll recognize most of the players from the musical, as their stories follow the truth closely. It had me gritting my teeth at the general injustice of the justice system at that time. It also had me humming "When You're Good to Mamma" for several days.
