** spoiler alert ** I guess if I was going to give a critical review, I could come up with plenty of complaints about this book. For example, the heroes seem to be a bit too perfect, and people seem to keep having the same conversation over and over. But regardless I enjoyed it a whole lot. I appreciated the sympathetic portrait of Guinevere, and I especially liked the portrayal of Arthur, who was just so darn loveable. He was pretty much incapable of doing anything wrong, except at the inevitable end, and he was the only character who ever seemed to have a sense of humor. (The only time Lancelot made me laugh was his reply to Gwen's news that Merlin was dead. "What, again?" Haha, nice one, Lance.) Anyway, highly enjoyable. The sequel seems to be about Galahad, and I can't decide if I want to read it or not, because G was basically a big jerk in this book. But I'll probably check it out.
