The best thing about the Chew series is its originality. In a sea of similar stories it can be quite refreshing to read a tale that hasn't been told before. Thankfully this series lives up to this mark of originality, because despite its sleek appearance, the whole thing rides on the story. The art is good, but for such a unique plot, it stands out as entirely naff.
