This book started out like a "chick" book and developed into an amazing story within a story. I loved the relationships between the sisters, mother and father and how they became "one" and had an understanding of their mother. The Historical history of Russia and the fairytale was also "magical" and I loved the way the novel ended. This was the first time I was inttroduced to a Kristin Hannah book and I can't wait to read another one.
