Another Anne book that fulfills its expectations of the ridiculous and fun in all of us. Anne of Ingleside, the sixth in the Anne series, is a lively mixture of funny stories told through Anne's children (a sign of the way the next few books will be narrated I think) and at the end, an adventure with Anne and an old rival. Montgomery continues to keep the happiness and 'Anneness' alive and keeps me entertained enough to keep on reading. The narration, as always, is well done and the laugh-out loud quality remains. 4/5
