My story is about three young kids. They are in the middle of known where at this Carnival. This is the setting of where it takes place. The plot is a man by the name of Count Olaf is trying to find the three kids and kill them to get there fortune. He also has to field a file known as the Snicket file, and find out if one of the parents of the three kids survived the fire. Count Olaf goes to the Carnival to find all of these answers from a fortuneteller named Madame Lu Lu. She will give Count Olaf all the answers that he wants. At the Carnival there is a place known as the house of freaks. Madame gets her money off of them by the customers that comes to the Carnival and pays to see what they do.
The characters of this story are Count Olaf, Madame Lu Lu, Klaus Baudlier, Sunny Baudlier, and Violet Baudlier. Count Olaf is the murderer trying to get the Baudlier’s fortune. Madame Lu Lu is the fortuneteller that gives people the answers of which they are seeking. Sunny Baudlier is the youngest of the three Baudliers. Klaus Baudlier is the second oldest and youngest, he loves to read books. Violet Baudlier is the oldest of the three and loves to invent things.

I liked this book because of how they got out of being captured by Count Olaf. I can’t wait until I read the next one because they are a sequel of books, there are 13 of them. To understand this book you have to read numbers 1-8 to understand it better.
