it was amazing
bookshelves: book-club, audiobook
Read from November 10, 2010 to January 17, 2011 , read count: 1

I finished it! Did you hear the celestial choir this morning? Even though it took me a ridiculously long time, I really liked it. It, of course, won't supplant Jane Eyre, but I do love a novel with exceptional characterization!

Ann Middlemarch! One of my favorites--I even own the book. Just finished Woman in White, starting Woolfe's
The Voyage Out, getting classicsly! Annabanana

rinabeana My aunt gave it to me years ago, but I've never read it. I've been lobbying for it to get chosen for my online book club for quite some time now. It finally won the poll! I wanted to listen to the audiobook on my trip to Virginia next week, but it's currently checked out of the library and is due Sunday. Even if the person returns it, I probably won't get it before I leave. Monroe County Library is very SLOW on hold requests, which is very disappointing. NIOGA was much better.

P.S. Did the ending of The Woman in White surprise you the second time around? (ha ha ha)
