Total chick lit...but I loved the main character, Jenny! The author's style is so light and friendly, it's an easy and fun read. It's the story of a woman whose fiance leaves her the night before their baby is born. Luckily, Jenny has caring and giving parents, meets supportive friends, and has a cute and helpful neighbor! Everything was wrapped up a little too neatly for me...she has plenty of money to stay home without working...the neighbor does a lot for her...the loser boyfriend comes back in the picture and you can probably figure out the ending on your own! (No spoilers here!) Even though I would love to be Jenny's best friend, I still could give it only 3 stars...but it's fun beach read. I'd like to see what else this author writes because I did enjoy her writing style.
