Okay, I'm so relieved to have finished this, so now I can get Mary Black's rendition of "Carolina rua" out of my head. :-)
I haven't read a lot of Robert's thrillers, but I'd say this is one of her best. A tragic backstory, a touch of paranormal and a strong supporting cast all make for an engaging read.

Well not to jump in ... well OK, I can't read JQ anymore and hers is the first series I busted up. What happened to her? As for Nora, she's library all the way but there are earlier books that are for me, forever faves and she truly makes me turn the pages :)
