This was a great nonfiction book about the Apollo 11 mission. I loved all the information it included, but I think I especially loved the language. It was almost poetic which seems unusual for many nonfiction books. My kids were fascinated by this book. It conveyed both a sense of wonder as well as how difficult and serious the mission was. I would have loved to have been alive when this happened. I guess reading about it is the next best thing. It also had endnotes that contained lots more "facts" about the mission. Just a great book.
