It's not that ever story needs some major event to shange my life forever, but the two characters just keep getting into new endevors that always fail somehow. I often think Flaubert researched too much and made the story line feel sometimes like encyclopedia answers (though beautifully written) rather than character's thoughts or interests. <br/><br/><a href="http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/777950?utm_medium=api&utm_source=blog_review">View all my reviews.</a>
