For those of you who might think there are some people in the world who deserve to die without the benefit of a trial, or that it is ineffective for our government to ask terrorists nicely to tell us things like where they next want to blow up innocent people, Mitch Rapp is your man. This book shows the beginnings of how Mitch Rapp came to join the CIA and overall is a great prequel to the long series by Vince Flynn. If someone has never read Flynn, this is a great start for the series. Flynn has gotten better as a writer over the years so be prepared for a small drop off in writing when you get to the "next" book in the series. Like most of Flynn's books the deeper you get into it the less you want to put it down and the more you are comforted there are people like Rapp in real life who are protecting us.

The book is great, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was too short!!!
