Oh my gosh!!! What a waste of time it was to read this book. Although the synopsis sounded interesting and the reviews I read were overall very good, I didn't liked this book. The plot & characters are completely illogical and there's no background to the story at all, so that I thought the author just started writing without first thinking about the plot too much. Consequently, the book world was one-dimensional at best and I felt somehow cheated - at least of time - after reading this book.

Janina Haha. I'm glad I only read the first 50 pages of this one and decided to never bother with the series again.

Corinne Another very badly written YA fantasy book. Seems that the genre attracts them a lot ;). Maybe because people think that writing fantasy for teenagers is less demanding and faster done than writing for adults. Dead wrong!!!

Sofia Totally agree with you. How could this book get awards and be a best-seller?????

Corinne Yeah, it's really unbelievable. Conversely, I read a few books I enjoyed a lot who didn't win anything or weren't even mentioned in a magazine ;(.

Indiaskye I read this sometime ago ... actually, I got about halfway through and no further. It was just really badly written!

Sofia Sincerely, I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when I was reading this book. It was so derisive, vulgar and boring at the same time. And agree with Indiaskye, so bad written.

Corinne Definitely.
