I expected something terrific out of this one, seeing as Julia Quinn is one of my favourite regency-writing authors and I've heard so much of Eloisa James (though I haven't read anything of hers yet).

The book was good, but it didn't match my expectations. The first couple's story was the most enjoyable for me, the rest going downwards from there. I guess it makes sense, since the part about the first two people getting together was written by J. Quinn. But this means that consequently I like Connie Brockway's writing style less, and Eloisa James would probably not make my favourite authors.

I don't know, but compared to Lady Whistledown Strikes Back, I was less impressed by this one.
