I thought this book was an excellent read. The story is very descriptive and with ones imagination can really feel like your part of the story. It shows the hidden world of the gypsy life and how true they are to their customs and traditions, with that, it also proves a point that no matter what race or religon you are or come from, your not excempt. If you want to know about what its like to be a gypsy or even some of their ways of life, pick up this book and read it! Take a walk in Mikey Walshs' shoe! Mikey Walsh has broken the biggest taboo amongst the gypsies and is still here to tell the true storie, me myself believe that their are many that have experienced his life and have yet to tell someone but is too scared for fear of rejection by the people they have been taught to look up to.
