Wow. This is the best volume of The Walking Dead by far! It's amazing to see how some of these characters have transformed over time.

Renee Alberts I'm still really early in the series. It's tough because it's so bleak, but if it gets so much better later on, I'll hang in there!

Better? I think so. Less bleak? Hmmm. It was hard to read all these issues back to back because the content is so intense and depressing. I felt the rug ripped out from under me a few times and my friends would tell you it affected my mood a bit. I did enjoy the later issues (after volume 5) the most.
