This is the story of the vampire sister of the three half-fae, half-human sisters who live in Seattle and are trying to keep Earth from being overrun by demons while the Fae back home are having a war. Or a revolt, or something. In this book, the evil vampire who tortured and turned the heroine shows up in Seattle, making new vampires. In order to stop him--and the bad stuff he plans to do with his vampire army--the heroine has to revisit her awful past and deal with it. The parts with her past were really hard for me to read, because it was so awful. This story doesn't have much romance that I could find, but it's a good read. I liked it a lot.
