Read from November 04 to 12, 2010

This is an excellent book that gives readers a glimpse into the lives of the secret service agents in charge of protecting President Kennedy. It's a work of historical non-fiction, but at the same time, a human interest drama about what these men dealt with during a painful and emotionally heart-wrenching time.

The book is well written and brings the reader into the heads and hearts of the Kennedy Detail Agents. It lays out the difficulties of the job the agents had, as well as captures a glimpse into the life of John and Jackie Kennedy. This isn't a tell-all book about the Kennedy's. It's a book more focused on the agent's relationship with Jack Kennedy and the impact his assassination had on them personally. The book does address some of the conspiracy theories toward the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who; has an interest in the Kennedy legacy, has an interest in personal stories, or has an interest in non-fiction.
