Douglas</a><br/><br/> <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/12923180?utm_medium=api&utm_source=blog_review"><h3>My review</h3></a> rating: 4 of 5 stars<br/>This was a very interesting perspective of not only the execution of Jesus, but of the power of his message that was left behind to be shared with humanity. This story has some corny parts to it, but I find that most ancient historical fiction does! Regardless, this is a good story and one that I will always remember as being on the list of my top 50 favorites. I rented the movie the other night - and talk about corny! I turned it off. I didn't want the movie to ruin my own perception of the characters and storyline.
