Not a bad read but I wasn't blown away.
So forgive me if I can't summarize properly.

Riley Poe lives with her younger brother, Seth. She puts her wild life behind, cleaned up good and now owns a tattoo shop named Inksomnia and is a good tattoo artist herself.
She was raised by Preacher and his wife after her mum was killed.

She is a pretty cool, beautiful, kick ass girl with the hair, body and tattoos (beautiful, artistic dragon tattoo at her back, arms and angel wing under her eyes)
She seems to have it good until her little brother and his friends accidentally released two brother vampires who were captured centuries ago and end up being their minions.

Being Riley, she is willing to do anything to bring Seth back.

Enter the dark and mysterious man, Eligius Dupré aka Eli.
Except that he is no ordinary man.
And their attraction for each other is strong, deadly and intense.

Riley learned about the creatures of the night, her blood and the Dupré blah blah blah.

Something bugged me in this book.
1) It just seem out of nowhere for one of the evil brother to reach out to her, sending her erotic dreams and telling her she is meant to be with him and etc.
2) She didn't tell Eli about Victorian. I just don't get it?

The final showdown is pretty bland.
I don't feel all hyped out with the showdown and suddenly they took her blood and things happened and she blanked out.

I might do a re-read again but for now, I guess I will just concentrate on book 2 first.
