This is book 3 in the Argeneau Vampire Series and it was a good read.

Lucern Argeneau is a writer of "fiction" paranormal romance stories that are based on his family of unusually bred vampires. His editor Kate C Leever turns up on his doorstep because he won't answer her letters the way she wants them answered. He is sullen, grumpy and very unfriendly but Kate manages to push her way into his home and before he knows it he has agreed to meet Kate at a writers conference (he thought he was agreeing to an interview).

The five days of the conference gives both of them a chance to get to know each other better and get to know each, they do? She thinks he wants her for a meal and he thinks she is being nice because it's her job - boy are they both wrong!

I really enjoyed this story, there were a few laughs to be had too.
