The title Watermelon almost scared me off but I'm happy it didn't. This book was hilarity from start to finish. It was my first Irish Chick Lit book and I couldn't stop laughing. The Walsh's are one kooky clan. I often felt sorry for the Dad being stuck in that house with 6 crazy women but he survived. My heart went out to Claire when her husband left her but her journey to finding herself again was endearing. Sure she had to deal with a screaming newborn, alcoholism, fighting sisters and a meddling mother. But the fact that she was able to find love through all of this was great. When she stuck it to her cheating hubby at the end when he tried to manipulate her into returning to their marriage was great. I would recommend this to any and everyone.
