This finish to the Bride Quartet is more of the same, but if you liked the first three, you will enjoy the love story and especially the family interactions among the ladies and gents connected with Vows. We have some appropriately problematic bride behaviour, as well. And finish on the lovely note of Mac's wedding.
Parker and Malcolm are lovely examples of opposites attracting, but the more interesting scenes are with Mrs. Grady and Malcolm's mum. And for the record, I love the idea of a guy going into a shoe store and buying an expensive and beautiful pair of shoes in the right size for a very rich young lady as an apology.
The two internally strongest books in this romance series were book 1 and 3. If you only read one contemporary Nora Roberts romance series without magic involved, there are better ones, though: The Chesapeake Bay Saga, for example, or - my personal favourites - the Born In trilogy.

On my second read, without having reread the other three books recently, I was a lot less annoyed at Malcolm's reticence towards Parker. I just enjoyed the flow ^^.

Hi ^^
I thought it was the best balanced book between being fun and being romantic, with bits about the strength of friendship. The others all had one or the other weakness.
I started with #3, thanks to Estara's rec! Did you see that a couple of readers think this series was ghostwritten?

Wow, no, I didn't see that! And if it was it was extremely well done, because the character dialogue especially among the ladies is so very much similar in tone, not in content, to previous female-friend series she's written. I'm just doing a reread of books 2 and 3 as well and am enjoying myself a whole lot again.
I'm in a different playpen -- rereading some Ilona Andrews, and just finished Sherwood's fun sweet regency.

i agree with u, i also love book 3 in this series
