Just when I think there isn't anything more to learn about Cork O'Connor, I find out how wrong I was. Read this for its superb descriptions of Minnesota's Iron Range's mining history, its explorations of the Ojibwe culture, and a cold case that connects to Cork's suppressed childhood memories. This series never disappoints and I love recommending Krueger to library customers.
