I was on the verge of rating this book 3/5, because it wasn't completely up to my expectations, but then I decided that was a bit harsh. It's almost funny and original enough to deserve a 4/5.
The title and cover made me curious. The reviews only increased that curiosity, and they directed me towards an extremely promising first chapter (you name it, it's got it: wit, fun, lightness, magnetism). That's why I bought it. That's why I read it.
It started very well, then it went down (more boring, slower, less smart) for too many pages, but in the end it picked up its pace again as things resolved in on themselves.
A book about teens, cynism, superstitions, and twins. With good enough characters and a huge misunderstanding in the centre of the plot (just like in the old theatre plays).
