Jack & Jill (Alex Cross #3)

Everybody I know who reads, seems to be a big fan of James Patterson. I have now read at least one of his books. I must say that I am not such a fan. While it is true his chapters are short and easy to read. He did no jump right in to the action. I instead found myself suffering through most of the book.
It was a struggle to read and my sister told me to just give up on it several times. I am glad I stuck with it however. The last few chapters were mind boggling and fun to read. The action finally picked up three quarters of the way through the novel. The pages could not turn fast enough at that point. Alas this was not true until the end however. I must write a review on the entire book.
That will be a struggle. He is a good writer, that is for sure. He is a popular one too. It seems I run in to one or more that one of his book s at every turn. I cannot deny his popularity. What I can deny is though my love for this book. I was not enthralled or even enticed. I was simply satisfied and I will try again to read the several others of his books I already bought. Alas this one was not a winner. I must give it a low grade and hope that I do not loose to many fans as a result. I am a critic though true and true and must be true to my self above all else.
Grade C+
