Mostly about the action and shock value...destruction and gorey torture of terrorists. A terror cell in Euorpe has gained Harvaths attention when they mess with his Dwarf friend. Nicholas the "troll" is framed for an explosion in Italy that takes Americans as casualties. Harvath thwarts the terrorists upscaled London plans, forcing them to move on to cause man made terror in Amsterdam. Meanwhile, traffic cops in Chicago are working on the American ties to the terror cell when one of the cell memebers kills a pedestian in a hit and run. A few decent opinions of the author's stance on Middle Eastern terrorism and their way of thinking. A good read with enteratining characters and plots across Europe and Chicago. The post 9/11 thriller genre is so ubiquitous on TV, movies, books I can't get excited enough to give these 4's and 5's.
