What can I say? It's Terry Pratchett. What can he touch that doesn't turn into something gold and blandly hysterical? From the hapless, luckless, and joyless Rincewind to the coolest and most badass piece of luggage in fiction, what's there not to love? It's also refreshing for me to turn back to the a book that is so full of the classic fantasy staples, having been gone from the genre for so long. Dragons, wizards, warrior maidens and bickering gods, how I have missed you -- and Pratchett does these things so well!
