I loved the characters of this book. I even loved the woman collecting Targon King Devyn. He seems like he will be an awesome lead male to read. Eden and Lucius go undercover to bring down a slave trading, person-napping other worlder. At the beginning of the book Eden had the human trafficker in her grasp but misses the shot and becomes injured herself. Eden's father (without her knowledge) hires Lucius (Agent Luscious) to keep her out of harm’s way. From the moment they are put together they have the greatest banter. Eden has a strongly competitive personality and due to her previous failure she has an enormous drive to get the bad guy. You cannot help but love our hero; he does not try to hold her back for her protection. Lucius knows Eden is a strong capable assassin and he lets her do her job.
