i think this book was amazing because 3 Sampson, rameck and George were all poor in a rough neighborhood. they lived of stealing and sometimes had their live endangered . it was weird how they knew each other and went to the same school and met. all of them were good friends and set their goals for them selves. they wanted to be doctors and they achieved it , no one in their family thought they would go far because of their economy and how poor they lived. like in one point one of them could of been an artist but he decided to help his mom pay the rent. that showed courage to save his friendship with his mom and help her pay rent instead of him living his dream of being an artist.this book showed that anyone could be successful you just have to apply yourself.
