** spoiler alert ** Old Man in the Sea, by Ernest Hemmingway is about an old fisherman who claims to be "bas luck", because he hasn't been catching alot of fish lately. One day he gets hooked to a big fish, and the fish pulls him for days. The book takes place in the sea with the old man trying to catch the marlin.
I love to read, but to tell you the truth, this book was torture. it was boring and unexciting. The book has a great struture though. The language is very strong, but it isn't intriging.
My favorite part is when the first shark attaked the marlin while the old man was on his way back home. The marlin was tied up to the side of the boat dead. Hemmingway described every feature, and every action that happened in this scene.
Overall, i think the book isn't really for kids like me and/or my age.
