Lovely, with a warnth coming through just like a grandmother reading to a grandchild. Interesting beginning with a poem entitled "Day" and ending with a poem entitled "Day Ending". In between are a number of poems and stories infused with a Russian flavor. Bringing a smile to my face were "Yasha" with the flowing, growing beard; "Three Babushka" who are in bed counting their toes; "Babushka's Boots" which is "The Old Woman in the Shoe", and my favorite "Nina's Kittens" where Nina begins with five kittens and well ends with many kittens.
