I am still not sure what genre to stick this book in. The romance was light. There was only one sexual encounter between Mia & Kyrin. The sex that was there was definitely hot! I liked the story. There was plenty of action and fighting. I wish there had been some sort of closure with Dare; perhaps we will see some more of him in later books. I appreciated that the author included a where the lead males money came from. I realize that we readers want our handsome romantic male overly wealthy, but sometimes I find myself pondering where the money came from. Showalter built an interesting futuristic world. With this book taking place in the future and involving aliens there was no space travel or other planets mentioned. We as readers learned very little about Kyrin’s home planet. Overall it was a great book & I will read more of the series.
