I love cozy mysteries- they're the perfect thing to curl up with if you aren't looking for something extremely heavy to read. They're also great in those instances where you may not be able to read everything in one sitting & need something that can easily be put down & picked up.

This particular cozy mystery surrounds the character of Kate, a woman going through all of the highs & lows of being a new mother. If worrying about tummy time & thank you cards wasn't enough, she also has to deal with the nasty discovery of her brother-in-law's bags being discovered near a dead man. With baby in tow, Kate sets about trying to figure out what those bags were doing there & how her brother-in-law may be involved.

I might not be able to relate to all of the mommy stuff in the book, but the great thing about the book is that you don't have to *be* a mom to enjoy this book. Orgain does a fantastic job of relating the stresses and daily worries about being a mother as well as building a great suspenseful read. I love the character of Kate- she's a delight to read about & I love her interactions with her new daughter.

The only thing I could say is that about halfway through I was able to see where the plot might be going & who the killer might be. I usually don't mind this because part of the fun of reading mysteries is doing your own deductions. The book is a good read, so even if you are like me & are good at guessing "whodunit" you should still enjoy the book as you go along.
