really liked it

This novel is good, I have to admit that the main protagonist view of the Lebanese war is one I like; everybody knows that the eastern part of Beirut acted in insultingly individual manner making themselves Gods and Jessusess. I am not saying the others didn’t have criminals, after all the heads of state in Lebanon are either butchers of humans, thieves, or mostly both features come in one. But to the novel, it is fast paced; it has sex, drugs, guns, and few nice twists of fate. It is good entertainment, with a slight trial to open a window in the human behavior map, in a very easy down to earth language. It is no Orhan Pamuk but it isn’t Daniel Steel either. I liked it, and I did read the Arabic translation because that is what I found and it was more that Ok.
