In the same vein as the DaVinci Code or Angels & Demons (Dan Brown), but different. I actually liked this one much better than Angels & Demons, even though it touched on the same subject matter - it was much more believable, with less swashbuckling and more mystery solving. The ending was kind of a letdown, though - it felt as though there was someone hovering over the writer's shoulder, saying "Hurry up! Hurry up!" It was a good fluffy rainy day read, though.
