Absolutely adored this book! SO much better than the Lost Hero. I felt more connected to the characters, and PERCY!!! He was in the book. I was seriously missing him! All of his wit and snarky comments were back, along with a whole bunch of ADORABLE thoughts about Annabeth, as he regains his memory. Definately one of my favorites!! Now I need the MArk of Athena!

I doubt that. It would be a cool twist if he did, but that would be cruel. If he did, I bet it would be an Aphrodite kid(Venus-I think?) If only the book was being narrated by him so we could know. If t was narrated by Piper or Jason or Leo it wouldn't be the same.I just want an extremely cute and fluffy reunion.

No, I think Rick Riordan said that the entire series would be from Jason, Piper, and Leo's perspective. Even though I think Percy is awesome as a narrator. Better than Jason, Piper, and Leo...I hope The Son of Neptune is first person from his perspective but I know that that isn't going to happen....

from my experience, authors like to twist things around and make the readers more and more desperate for a happy ending. the stories are still fun, but i get so...so...irritated, you know what i mean?
if rick makes him fall in love with some roman girl i will legit find him and kill him for doing that to us. you make us wait 5 books for it and then give us like 5 pages of the relationship and be like oh whoops there is goes agian. no no no it wont happen ill kill him if it does... im sure im not the only one

I agree. I literally screamed, "FINALLY!" during Annabeth and Percy's first kiss. If that happened then we'd have a deja-vu feeling while reading the next book.

I have to disagree...the Lost Hero was actually better. Just because Percy was missing doesn't make it a horrible book. I actually hated the Son of Neptune until the middle. So just saying. Tee hee.

i read all the percy jackson books and i totally fell in love with the character, so when the lost hero came out i was hoping he would at the very least be in it and it upset me when he wasnt in it at all. the new characters are okay but i miss the old team. i am so glad percy is in the son of neptune.(:(:(:
I liked Frank and Hazel WAY more than Piper and Jason, which made me enjoy this book way more. Also, Percy Jackson. :P
