I didn't particularly like this book because it wasn't as well written as it could have been. However, there are a few things that endeared me to the author and I'm hoping that if she can just get her act together then she will be someone I'll read again and again.

Endearing qualities:
-Prose wasn't overly descriptive - I suspect LK realises most of us don't care what colour the drapes are or whether it's raining unless it's pertinent to the plot
-LK didn't describe every single day the couple were together. You got a good sense of movement from those little summaries
-Every waking thought and emotional flip flop wasn't belaboured to death.

To a newbie to the genre you might think that's not much to write home about, but read a few more books and you'll find out that what some ppl consider basic storytelling is a real big whoop when it comes to romance.

Oh! and most endearing quality? -It was free.
