The story takes place in the future which give the reader a special and creative idea to look at the future. What will the world look like when the Government is over controlling and over protected the citizens? The setting of this novel is very interesting to me. It gives me a chance to compare our government to the government that is in the novel to see which one is better. I am grateful that I am not living in the novel’s over- protective countries. In real life, almost everybody eats french fries and like eating french fries. People just run whenever they want to. However, in the novel friench fries are illegal because it is not healthy for people. People have to wear all the protective gear whenever they run. Everything sounds so perfect but for me it is repugnant place for me to live.
However, hoping not to be too sexist, I think this novel won’t interest many high school girls because most of the novel is about running and football. Since I am not active person, I am not really interested in running and football nor this novel.
Also, at the end of the book, the author doesn’t explain some things that I would like to know. For example: What did Bo’s father do to make him sent to the jail? Also, If Bo didn’t make the rashes on people’s faces then who did or how did it happen?
Overall, I don’t really like this novel and I think it is more suitable for teens who interested in sports.

Kelsey (The Lost Book Reports) I find your review interesting.personally. I find his book to perfect for all students, ESP. Boys which I believe to be awesome since most books are not and the book doesn't do anything to detour girls from it. To answer your questions. Bo's dad originally went to jail for road rage and then voluntarily went back on his own (this is very common among newly released prisoners now). The rash was psychological it happened because people feared it and wanted to believe it was happy. All made up. No real rash.
