I listened to this book in one day. It was silly, totally unrealistic, and at times, really corny, but it was an easy read. It's not really an erotic type novel because older terms are used, but the writing of the steamy parts were pretty good, and there is quite a bit of it in this story. This book is pure romance, no intrigue or suspense. The male hero is a little odd, and might even be considered a stalker in the beginning, but as I said, this story is not one of realism. Real people just don't act this way!!

Basically if you like pure romance with the hero spouting silky, passionate, mostly unrealistic dialog, (hence the title), this may be the book for you. Add in some sexy interludes and a heroine who starts off meek and timid and gets more emboldened as the book goes on. This audio book had 5 discs and was read by a man, a familiar reader who I like, and he did a great job with the steamy stuff. I really don't know why, but I was hooked after the 1st disc and had to follow it through. But the time I got done, I was pretty much ready for it to end, as I was just spent!!
