Chris McGrath I was going to finally give Lord of the Rings a shot, but my wife wanted to read something together, and preferred Sanderson. She's a smart lady.

Bryan Pope I really enjoyed this book more than Elantris. I was hoping he could expand on the Warbreaker world but alas the last I heard he was leaving it to the one story.

Chris McGrath I liked this better than Elantris as well, much more interesting ending, but most of the book just seemed like a buildup/mystery that was interesting but maybe didn't keep me as excited as mistborn. Then again, maybe there's nothing wrong with that, he's kind of defining his own genre within Fantasy.

Actually, with that in mind, maybe I will change it from 4 to 5 stars after all.

I do remember him saying he had plans to make one more Warbreaker book though, and clearly he left it open for a sequel.
