it was ok
Read from October 20 to 25, 2010 , read count: 1

This is the first time I've ever noticed the little words that come up when you hold your pointer over the stars. I might have given this a ***, but the words over the second star say 'It was OK'. This was probably a pretty good book, but I didn't like it. I likely won't read any more Michael Connelly. It was a very dark, dingy story about a cop who's really a good cop, but he doesn't play the political game. That hits close to home for me. A body is found in a motel, and it's assumed to be a cop who's committed suicide. Harry Bosch decides that it's murder, but he has to go off the grid to prove it. And so it goes. I was glad to be done with the book so that I can read something with some light in it.

Linda I agree with your review, Leslie. I probably won't read any more of his books.

message 2: by Red (new) - rated it 3 stars

Red Heaven I don't think the Bosch novels are his best work - The Poet and Void Moon are great and well worth checking out.
