it was ok
bookshelves: american
Read from October 20 to 22, 2011

first I'd like to apologize to faries who I know really liked this book. it's not a bad two stars i'm giving it I swear it's a god this book was disappointing two stars.

first, I really think some heavy editing could have been done here because hey we've got 17 depressed people who are all depressed about the same thing none of whom are depressed in an interesting way. well i'm not on board. then when interesting things happen they aren't exactly the kinds of interesting things I want my 11 year old sister to mistakenly run across in a book because some idiot publisher thought it was appropriate for teenagers.

I mean on some level I should have known if this book is the child of Stephen king and Mary Shelley and I dislike both there is no reason to believe I'd like this. but I like monsters.

in short:
too long
too boring
too whiney
too gory for children.
