Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror

Some of the stories were pretty great and creepy, some of the others were a bit on the weak side. I was glad that we finally got an explanation for what was going on at the Uncle's house but it didn't have the impact that I was hoping for.
Yes, this is a YA book and it did feel aimed at slightly younger YA readers but some of the stories were pretty dark so I was expectant a bit more for the grand finale.
Still, it was an enjoyable read and one that I had, at times, trouble setting aside. Would rec. to anyone starting out with horror stories.
