Kiss of the Night is book number 4 in the Dark-Hunter series, and it was a great installment! Wulf and Cassandra are definitely not meant to be. What with him being a Dark-Hunter and her being an Apollite on the verge of death, yet thanks to some butting in by the Goddess Artemis, they become entangled in ways they never imagined. Now with Wulf having to keep Cassandra safe, and them not be able to keep their hands of each other, they unavoidably fall in love, but not without having to go through some difficult and sometimes painful obstacles.

I really liked Wulf and Cassandra's characters, but I LOVED Chris. He is by far the best comic relief in this series to date. I also loved how Cassandra could find the humor in any situation, even while being hunted down. Wulf wasn't a jerk to Cassandra, which was different, I liked that. He was thoughtful and sweet and funny. :) I found the overprotective way Wulf cares for Chris very endearing, and thought Chris could be a little more sympathetic to Wulf's position. I mean, come on, if you knew the only way for your ancestor not to live a sad lonely life was by you procreating, wouldn't you be getting to it already?! lol Maybe then would Wulf have left him alone about it. haha In any case, they're relationship is sweet.

We got to meet the evil Stryker and Apollymi, aka The Destroyer, and they are E-V-I-L! We also met Urian, Stryker's son, who is instantly intriguing and for good reason, he isn't all he appears to be. My Acheron also makes an appearance. :D I really can't wait to learn the entirety of his mysterious self!! We get to see cameos from past Dark-Hunters too, which is always cool.
