Lost Empire (Fargo Adventure, #2)
by Clive Cussler, Grant Blackwood
by Clive Cussler, Grant Blackwood
Clive Cussler is back with a strong story written as I remember him from the Dirk Pitt days. Once again he makes his cameo appearance in the midst of another adventure with the Fargo's, and again the story will keep you turning the pages into the middle of the night.
In this story the Fargo's are drawn into a historical rewritting of history when they discover a ships bell while diving on vacation. The bell leads them to find the ship it came off of and the story behind it. The bell gets stolen by an agent of the Mexican president - leading the Fargo's on a worldwide hunt for the story and the bells recovery.
Written in Cussler's style which blends history, nautical lore and a well developed plot this is indeed one of his finer endevours.
